Oil Dispenser By Jennifer Walker on - Updated Sep 18, 2011

This is the best designed oil dispenser I have ever encountered for daily usage oil. I keep regular olive oil in it for sauté and other day-to-day uses. The dispenser consists of a nicely shaped cruet, graduated in ounces and cups up to twelve ounces, and also graduated in milliliters, with a useful pouring lip. In addition, there is a small bulb baster, also graduated for small oil measurements from 1/4 teaspoon to 1 tablespoon, and also in milliliters. The construction of both cruet and baster is heavy, high-quality plastic with a great quality, heavy-duty bulb, cleverly designed to also serve as a tight stopper on the oil cruet. This is one of those items that are so nicely designed and built, that you just want to own it for the aesthetic value.

As an old fashioned kind of guy, I would prefer that this be constructed of heavy-duty laboratory glass with etched or pressed graduations, but this would increase the modest price dramatically.

For the money and the quality, this is a fantastic buy on a marvelous tool for the kitchen - I recommend it very highly.
