Oily Kitchen? By Chris Kong on - Updated Sep 18, 2011

Chinese cooking always mess up the kitchen with oil and soot. Hence I was on the lookout for a powerful cleanser for my oily kitchen and I found Lysol, it not only cleans the oil but it disinfects too.

Pros: Very easy to use. We just need some paper towel and wipe away the oils and soot first from the kitchen top and then spray the kitchen cleaner over the top and wipe one more time. In that way there is no need for us to wash pieces of oily kitchen clothes or towels. The spray packaging makes cleaning so much faster and easier. It can be used on any surface, be it wood , tiles, metal tops or even sinks. I found that it is very effective in cleaning spills on cooker or stove tops especially after cooking sticky food like jams and syrups.

Cons: Since it contains active ingredients like ammonium chloride, it is advisible to wear gloves while cleaning and remember to keep it away from children.
