Okami is based upon Japanese folklore and in many ways serves as a subliminal lesson on some of the nuances of Japanese culture. The entire game appears to have been painted by old brush techniques, giving the game a tranquil feel when combined with its incomparable score.

The environments are also fully interactive within this adventure game as you progress further, gaining techniques. Youll be able to spread life, interact with animals, people, fish and everything else youd expect from an adventure game. Many comparisons have already been made to the Legend of Zelda series.
