Yakult was my daily drink when I was a child. We always watch out for the Yakult dealer roaming in the street in order to buy. As I grew older and spent more time at school then at work, my consumption of Yakult was reduced until I forgot the habit of drinking it everyday. Recently, I had bowel movement disorder but was cured by a prescription against amoeba. The doctor advised to be more careful with the food preparation and water intake or else the disorder will reoccur. After three weeks or a month, I experienced it again. So first, I make sure to drink only purified water. Then I remember to drink Yakult again. Since I renewed the habit of drinking it every morning, my bowel movement becomes normal again. It is true that we, children and adults too, need good bacteria to fight contaminants that get in our food we ingest. The only comment from some friends/acquaintance is the taste of it, the slight sour taste. When you get used to the taste, it is nothing compared to the benefit it will give to your system.

So its a daily laxative.. or something that just keeps you regular? Seems pricey, not sure how much 35 pesos amounts to in US currency though.. I prefer to just eat fiber rich foods.
Hmmm, it sounds similar to the probiotic yogurt here and there is another that I use to take but can't remember the name of it, which sounds like it might be a more similar product. I would probably like this. Sounds like a good thing to have in your diet. Thanks for the info.
