Reviewing: Y & S Candies Young & Smylie Licorice (Black) 3 Oz.
Purchased at: Dollar Tree     Price: $1.00 USD

I know not too many people care for the taste of the traditional black licorice, but for those that do, this is a great way to get your candy fix. This is the real deal too, made with real licorice root extract! Something that is hard to find because so many candy companies resort to using all artificial flavorings in their products. The bag is 3 oz. so it's perfect snack size, and the licorice is in bite sized soft pieces, so they are easy to chew. Unlike some licorice I've encountered before, that is hard and like chewing on a car tire, ick! Young & Smylie, I know doesn't sound familiar to you, but rest assured, they are a division of The Hershey Company. We all know Hershey does make great chocolates and candies! Also for those of you who don't like the taste of black licorice, it is available in strawberry and peach mango too.So if you have a Dollar Tree near you, stop in and see if they have some. It's a great snack and you can't beat the price!
