Like so many women, I was too busy to be overly concerned with special facial cleansers, until I hit the fabulous 50s. Suddenly I was aware of aging, and felt that soap was drying out my skin. I am also fair-skinned, and tend to have allergies, so I wanted a product that would be gentle. I chose Olay Gentle Foaming Face Wash for Sensitive Skin. Tested by dermatologists, it is 100% soap-free, oil-free, dye-free, and fragrance-free. Because it is PH-balanced, and contains aloe, it never dries my skin like soap does. In fact, my skin felt as though I had used a moisturizer. I most often use the face wash in the shower.
It has a gentle foam, and the only thing that could possibly make it better, would be if it had a pump dispenser. It comes in a blue and white stand up tube, with a pop open top. Simply wet your face and hands, squeeze a little of the product into your hands, then work into a soft lather. After gently massaging the cleanser into the face and neck areas, rinse with warm water. It leaves your skin feeling soft and clean, free of make-up residue and dirt.

For those of us over 50, it's very important to choose products, that do not dry our skin. I'm not a regular user of Olay facial products, but I have tried some of them. They are very moisturizing and gentle to your skin.
I never was a cream woman, but i'm approaching this big turn also and have seen a difference in my skin. Might try it. Thanks. (V)
I love foaming face washes with a pump, but this sounds like it might not be too bad either. It's the right price as well, I think I'll check it out when my current wash runs out.
I have used some Olay products in the past and have found them to be quite good for the price.
Welcome Sparkle! since you convinced me this is truly gentle and non drying I'm going to give it a try. My face gets very dry in summer and it gets difficult to keep it moisturized and clean.
