Old House Journal By kateri27 on - Updated Sep 18, 2011
I have always been interested in older homes. All of the more common magazines seem to focus on the more modern home. This magazine actually adresses the various issues that one may have with their older home.
It also offers suggestions on where to buy products for your home. Products that match the architectural genre that your home captures. I learned so much from the subscription that I have had to this magazine for the past two years.
It addresses things such as the best chimney liners, linoleum floors, architectural salvage, and many other interesting topics. They offer tips on fixing common problems that you will encounter in your older home.
this is definately a magazine that you will keep on file and return to again and again. A must for all old home lovers!

I love old houses. They have character.
Old houses always seem to have something more to them than newer homes which allseem so.."manufactured"..
This sounds like a great magazine, I love the style of old houses and this sounds like a magazine that even if you have a newer home you could get some ideas for decorating.
My dad is a huge fan of this magazine after he bought a subscription from my daughter for a school function.
That sounds like a great magazine. One like this would be really helpful. I agree, a lot of the other home magazines only focus on brand new homes and that is impossible to use the ideas from there when you have an older home. Thanks for the information on this magazine!
A Good magazine. You did great here! I have to hunt you down, your in the lead. Hope to compete! WW-V:)
I have never heard of this magazine but I do love looking at pictures of older homes that have been restored. Thanks for the heads up.
I have never heard of this magazine. This would be great for anyone interested in old homes.
I also like older homes. Growing up, one of my friends had a home that was built with wooden pegs in place of nails. How cool is that? Structurally the home is beautiful. They were able to update it with an addition that was added seamlessly... That was fun to watch!
Wow. What an interesting magazine. I love old houses, and the way they are constructed. This is a magazine which I will certainly be looking for now.
