Old Navy Regular Fit Toddler Boy's Jeans By halcammom on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
For the last few weeks, I have been searching for jeans for my 19 month old son. Every pair I found would be too expensive or I didn't like the style. I refuse to pay a lot of money for a pair of jeans that my son will wear for one season. However, I also refuse to buy jeans that I don't like. I kept searching and this weekend, I found some at Old Navy that I really liked. They also happened to be on sale, so I was in luck. They normally run $16.50 but I was able to buy them for $10.00 a pair.
They have serveral different styles and sizes to choose from. The sizes available are 6/12 mo, 12/18 mo, 18/24 mo, 2T, 3T. 4T, and 5T. The styles available are regular fit and painter, which is a more baggier fit. Each fit and size comes in different colors such as basic demin, distressed or black.
I choose the regular fit in both distressed and black in size 2T. They look like jeans for boy, not a baby. Starting in size 2T, they don't have elastic in the back like most toddler jeans have. However, they do have an ajustable waist with the elastic hidden on the inside. There are buttons on the waistband on the inside with elastic that can be adjusted. This is an advantage for me because my son is tall and thin. The Old Navy jeans fit him so well and he looks like a little man in them.
I am very happy with my purchase from Old Navy. The denim is not thin, the button snaps easily, and they look so cute! I'm so glad the weather has cooled down enough for him to wear them.

I love Old Navy because you can often find some great deals in their clearance section. I think paying less for kids clothing is a smart thing to do. They often out grow clothes before they wear them out.
I love shopping at Old Navy for my two boys. They have such a great variety.
