Olive Organic Shampoo

Z.E.N. is a maker or organic beauty products. I have tried a lot of their products already and I am very satisfied. But I don't quite like the Olive Shampoo.

The scent is quite okay, not ravishing, but okay. However, it does not stay long on my hair. I dunno, it just dissipates easily. And since there is not much chemical in the shampoo, it is not very sudsy, so I would need a little more shampoo to wash my hair. That is okay with me, as long as it does not have the harmful ammonium compounds found in most shampoos.That is why I used an organic shampoo in the first place.

My problem however lies in its effect. It kind of dries my scalp and makes it itchy. I did not use other products, as I don't usually put anything on my hair, so it must be the shampoo. It doesn't cause dandruff but my scalp is really itchy that I have to scratch my head all over almost uncontrollably.

The itchiness would disappear if I use a pH balanced solution to wash my hair. Then I would feel better. I tried using the shampoo several times more with the same effect. So I don't know what is in that shampoo, but it is not for me.
