Olympic Red Mittens
By Robin Crossman onI finally found a pair of the adult size Olympic Red Mittens that have been flying off the shelves this year. They are so warm! They are made of thick yarn on the outside and are lined with warm fleece on the inside. These mittens are great for going outside for a walk, skating or watching a hockey game, but I would not recommend these mittens if you were going to be handling the snow because they will get wet.The yarn may also snag on something if you were being active in them.I love the red colour and the maple leaf on the palm of the mittens. They also make these in a junior size for kids. You can purchase the gloves at the Bay or Zellers or you can buy them online from the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Store.I think these are a great deal at $10 a pair and net proceeds goes toward supporting Canadian athletes. They are also a real attention getter because when you go out wearing these, everyone will ask you where you got them.Overall, these mittens are well made, warm, patriotic, and very affordable. They will also make a great keepsake in the years to come!

Go Canada Go! I LOVE these mittens!
These are very popular, and such a good price.
My goodness, have you seen the gigantic LINEUPS for the store this past week?? 2 more days! I actually still haven't sported myself a pair of these gloves yet =( I wonder if they lint up those bumps like the cheap 99 cent gloves do?
Mine haven't yet but they may when I wash them. I never thought of that.
I love these mitts!!! I was able to get another pair at Zellers. Everywhere else is sold out.
