Olympus Evolt 510 By scottny on - Updated Sep 18, 2011

I previously owned the Evolt 500. This was a great camera. Great battery life, so many photos on memory cards.

I then heard the 510 came out. I was like ok. It has a live view. WOW!! This made me very happy.

Then I also discovered it is 10 megapixels.

The photo exposure settings are the same as the 500. 29 all together.

This camera has another new feature, the image stabilization mode counters any movement for clearer photos of moving objects.

Olympus also has the dust reduction system which shakes dust away between the shutter and image sensor.

The lenses used by olympus are Zuiko digital. These lenses are great. I went to Disney World and shot over 1500 pics with them. The kit comes with 2 lenses 14 - 42mm and a 40 - 150 =mm lense.

I must say I highly recommend this camera. The photos are great. The ease of use is amazing.

Prices for the 2 lense kit vary but average around $899.00

I have inlcuded a photo I took one night in Times Square.

I am not a pro at photography but I do enjoy taking photos every chance I can get.
