Om in Ten Minutes
By Chocollette onAfter months of hibernating from this cold winter, I thought it was time to work on my New Year's resolution of taking better care of myself by doing more workout videos.I chose Perfect in Ten Yoga because as a busy mom of one, my life is centered around my son and 10 quality minutes are about all I can spare!!
There are five segments to this video ranging from 10-13 minutes with the categories of:
1.Awaken and Energize
2.Tone and Strengthen
3.Back Relief and Flexibility
4.De-Stress and Let Go
5.Guided Deep Relaxation
Each of these workouts actually made me sweat after 10 minutes and that surprised me and each of the segments targets exactly what they say they will!I also find thatthe more I do the workouts, the more flexible I am becoming!I am definitely not pretzel looking flexible but I can bend deeper without saying "ouch"!
The instructor Susan Grant has such a calming and soothing voice and she shows modified as well as advanced positions.
If you had asked me a few years ago what my goal in working out would be, I would have said to acquire washboard abs and now that I have "matured", my goal is to be more empowered to have a strong and flexible body as well as alleviating anxiety and stress in my mind.Since those goals are more realistic, surprisingly enough, a few rungs on the washboard have magically appeared!
I highly recommened this video for those of you who are pressed for time and want to do yoga!
Namaste.......

Yoga and its benefits are often overlooked and badly underestimated Chocolette. This DVD sounds ideal for anyone wanting to increase flexibility and take a slow into to this ancient art.
Sounds like a winner. It's hard to find more than a few spare minutes in one go!
Thanks for a great insight to something I have never done before. I think it's important to focus but our busy lives have too many things going on each day and we forget to do it. I bow to you also !
I have been considering yoga...this sounds like JUST what I need to start with...I never seem to find the time to exercise but I definitely can find 10 minutes (if nothing else after the kids are all in bed) :0)
I have always wanted to try Yoga, just for the stress relief. Thanks for the information, I am going to try this out!
I've been looking for something like this, and the price sounds right. Thanks for sharing your experience with this product!
Sounds like it's an attainable workout and easier to stick to than committing to hours a day of working out.
Sounds like an interesting video , that i could use lol
If it relevies stress and anxiety maybe I should try this. There is so much I cant do since my back surgery but I am not totally down ;)
I really need the stress and anxiety part i too don~t really have very much time for myself, so i can defiantly relate.
