Omron Hem 650 Wrist Blood Pressure Monitor By Lindy Smith on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
A few months ago I had knee surgery and after the procedure, they had difficulty bringing my blood pressure down. After some pain medication, I was able to get it to a manageable number. When I got home, I purchased the Omron Wrist blood pressure monitor so that I could make sure that it stayed in a reasonable range. The wrist monitor is very easy to use and is designed to use with one hand. You simply put it on your wrist, fasten the Velcro, keep it above your heart and wait for the beep. It'll measure your heart rate and display your systolic, diastolic, and heart rate as soon as it's done. You can store your readings to chart your progress using the memory button. The monitor allows me to periodically check my pressure and make necessary life adjustments to prevent any heart problems. If you're looking for a very affordable way to monitor your blood pressure, I'd highly recommend the Omron Wrist Blood Pressure Monitor.

How accurate a reading do you get from this type of mionitor. I like the portability of this one, but I'm not certain my cardiologist would feel this was accurate enough.
That's a really good price for a blood pressure monitor.
I always say that these truly give a person peace of mind.
