"On the Night You Were Born", written by Nancy Tillman, is an excellent childrens book, and I would recommend it for anyone who has children ages one through five. My husband and I purchased this book a Christmas gift for our two year old son. The book was purchased on Overstock.com for $10, and it is a hardcover book. The retail price is $16.95. The book tells a very nice story of how there is only one of "you" and how the world celebrated on the night "you" were born. The story is told as if it were written to your child. "On the Night You Were Born" is an excellent story to read at bedtime, and it is a nice change from your typical children's story. The length of the story is good. There are one or two sentences on each page, and the pictures are very attractive. My children enjoy it, and this is a story that can be enjoyed over and over again.
