I have had the One For All remote control for 1 year, and it has done a great job. This remote is the kind that you can program to use with both you television and VCR at the same time. I like this feature in particular, because I can flip through channels on the TV while I am rewinding or fast-forwarding a movie. This remote takes 4 triple A batteries, which seem to work for about 3 months, but of course that depends on how often it is used. The signal on this remote is excellent. I can change the channel even when the remote is facing away from the television! The previous channel button is great, since I frequently switch back and forth during commercials. The mute button is large and in the center of the remote, surrounded by the channel and volume buttons. I find that these are great positions for these buttons since they are all used most often and should be together in a way that is convenient. This is a great remote control since it has great functions and you only need one to properly use your television.
