One of My Favorite Dark Books

I have lost count how many times I have read this book.I love it!It's an amazing book!This is an intense dark story with two narrators, Domenico the grandfather and Dominick the grandson, who have their own demons to wrestle with through out the book.This book just draws you in and you do not want to stop reading until you find out what happens.Wally Lamb does an awesome job developing not only the main characters but also the minor characters.It is the characters that draws you into his books time and time again.This book covers love for family, romantic love, our own insanity and fears, and the burden of love. What I liked least about the book is that the story of Domenico, which is told through a draft of his unpublished autobiography, gets boring at times.This book is definitely one to put on your list to read.
