O'neill Snow Jacket By cloudage on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

My family loves to go snowboarding, and when purchasing a jacket for my husband it was vital that it would suit this purpose. I found O'Neill's Polar Air Corps' jacket, and it's a good jacket but could be far better.

This jacket is advertized as having progressive design, advanced functional features, tough durable construction made by O'Neill snow gear technology.

It does have most of this, including an extension past the hips which helps prevent snow going up the back while snowboarding. It's also very warm, and has a good hood that fits to the head perfectly.

I wish however that this jacket was more water proof, and the absence of strings amazes me. There are no strings to adjust the waistline, which every jacket should have. I also wish that a jacket made specifically for snowy conditions would have a lock around the waist to seal of your mid section. This jacket does not have this, and does not have a very good comfort to it. It kind of hangs down from your shoulders, and all the way down to your waist.

I would not purchase this jacket today after having seen how it performs.
