My mom saw this on YC's website and was immediately taken with it. I told her I'd buy it for her for the holiday. I'm pleased with the purchase. It was fun and festive to have on Halloween. It takes 2 "AA" batteries. It is 3.8 inches in diameter by 5.8 inches in height (9.7 centimeters in diameter by 14.7 centimeters in height). It's definitely a nice, large size. I really like the detailed graveyard scene that is printed on it. There is a spooky cat, an owl, a crow, a skeleton and much more, all ready to scare you out of your wits! Just kidding; it's not terrifying, but it really does get you in the mood for the holiday.

When you turn it on, it flicks colors of rainbow light. First it does it one pattern; then it does it in another pattern. After that, it repeats all over again. It's pretty cool!

Some information: This flame-free luminary is to be used only indoors. Keep it away from any heat source that can melt the wax. The whole outer body of the luminary is wax, so it looks like a real candle.
