Optical 3 Button Usb Mouse Hp By Sparkle333 on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

Well, when I bought this mouse I thought it was cordless, but when I got it home, I realized that it wasn't. But it is for my laptop, and the cord is not really a problem. It simply plugs into my USB port, and it's ready to go. The set-up is as easy as a cordless. There's no mouse ball to worry with, as it has an optical sensor. The cursor seems to be smooth and precise. It is compatible with Windows XP (which I have) and Vista. It has a 1 year limited warranty.

There are 2 main buttons (right and left click) and a scroll wheel for up and down movement, as well as a middle click function.

It is difficult to believe that you could purchase this mouse for such a reasonable price. I got it at Walmart for only $12.74. I was working on some articles, and misplaced the USB adapter to my cordless mouse, and ran in the store quickly to pick up another mouse. Quite honestly, I was in a hurry, and just picked up the first one I saw. But I think I am going to like it quite well.

It is black and silver, and feels great in my hand. I always use an ergonomic mouse pad, with a wrist rest. As time goes on, I'll see how durable it is. I am a freelance writer, and am really hard on a mouse. For a practical and affordable mouse, this is a good choice.
