Orajel Toddler Training Toothpaste
By bubbacat onOnce we started teaching our children to brush their teeth, I had to select a toddler toothpaste. I chose Orajel Toddler Training Toothpaste. The packaging is really nice. It comes in a box with different characters on it depending on the flavor you choose for your child. Little Bear is on the bubble burst and Thomas the Train is on the tooty fruity. There is also a fruit splash and a berry blast. The berry blast has a breath freshner and added calcium. These toothpastes can be used up to four years old. This toothpaste is safe to swallow and fluoride free as stated on the box. The reason children need a fluoride free toothpaste is because too much fluoride causes fluorosis or white spots on their permanent teeth as stated. We must remember to purchase fluoride free while children are young. These toothpastes have flavor but are clear in color. They do not foam while brushing and are irritant free. Contains no sodium lauryl sulfate. The children seem to like the flavor. The toothpaste is a gel form. Great to start kids out early learning how to brush and the benefits of brushing not to mention a first dental appointment at age two! Yes, age two. The dentist just checks the teeth, no cleaning yet. Gets the kids used to the dentist before the first initial cleaning.

Sounds pretty safe .
