I had owned an expensive electric toothbrush for many years and really liked it. It broke and at the time I did not have the $100 or more dollars to replace it. About the time this happened Oral B introduced the Vitality Electric toothbrushes for about $20. I purchased one and one for my husband as well. I think that it works just as well as the more expensive models. My teeth always feel cleaner when using an electric toothbrush versus a manual and my gums feels better too. We have had the toothbrushes for about a year now, we replace the toothbrush heads every 3 months. The brush heads are $18 for three of them. If you are looking for an electric toothbrush, and don't want to spend upwards of $100...this Oral B Vitality is a great alternative.
