This floss looks like a ribbon because it is flat. I think it does a better job than regular floss because it has a greater area to grab with. Since it is flat it glides between the teeth instead of jolting down after it gets past your teeth. It slides down into the gums gently and does a nice job of cleaning. The mint flavor is not too intense and it does leave your mouth feeling very fresh and clean. I really like this product. My teeth are pretty close together and I sometimes had a hard time getting regular floss in between them. It is so gentle and it does a nice job. I feel like I am in control of how far it goes and I won't get hurt. I would recommend this to everyone, but especially those with teeth close together.
