Oral B Triumph Professional Care Power Toothbrush By nightwing on - Updated Sep 18, 2011

This is the second electric toothbrush that I have owned. My first one was also a Braun. When it died, I went back to regular toothbrushes for about 6 months before finally deciding to spend the money on this unit. For me, it was money well spent.

My favorite feature is the timer. The toothbrush starts a two minute countdown when you start brushing your teeth. Once you hit the two minute mark, the toothbrush stops spinning for just a few seconds to let you know, and displays a happy face on the digital display. This feature alone makes the toothbrush a worthwhile investment for me. I know that without this feature I would not spend two minutes brushing my teeth, thus giving me an inferior cleaning.

The battery life is good, although they can always be better. I use the toothbrush at least twice a day and charge the device once a week, whether it tells me it needs it or not. The battery life is always displayed on the digital display by bars, similar to those on a cell phone.

The device comes with a regular brush head and a polishing brush head. I have never used the polishing one, but I like the regular brush head. The device tells you when it is time to replace the head. The device pretty much tells you everything.

There are lots of cheaper electric toothbrushes, but for me all of the options with this device really makes it worth the high price tag.
