Oreo Matchin' Middles Game By sconf on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

Fisher Price's Oreo Matchin' Middles game is a fun and educational game for preschool aged children. The game contains 24 oreo cookie halves with 12 different shapes (2 halves with matching shapes interlock to form complete cookie). The pieces are very sturdy and large enough that they cannot be swallowed if a child puts on in his/her mouth for a "taste" (they are realistic looking!) One of my favorite features is that the pieces come in a stong plastic cookie jar container that can be used to hold all of the pieces when not in use - so no lost pieces!!! The recommended ages for this game are 3-7, and there are 2 game levels - Beginner and Advanced. In the Beginner game, the skills of taking turns and matching are put into action as kids start out with cookie halves and then reach into the cookie jar to find matching halves. In Advanced play, all halves are placed on playing surface and kids take turns flipping over two halves to locate a match, testing their memory and matching skills. My kids really enjoy playing this game and it has helped my preschooler identify his shapes - GREAT game!
