Organic Chemistry 2nd Edition By tbk06 on - Updated Sep 18, 2011

This book has very nice illustrations and goes into depth about each mechanism and reaction. I believe that it is very helpful in explaining the minutia of each mechanism and does a good job of explaining real world applications. The chapter organization is very logical and progressive and makes it very easy to go from one subject matter to the next. There are also very detailed summary sections which can help you breeze through tests and homework assignments. The challenge problems provide a fair challenge to most students and do require some time to complete while the regular homework problems are helpful for general understanding. The reading does at time get very dull as organic chemistry may not be the funnest of subjects. But in the end, I think this book is very helpful in understanding organic chemistry.
