I like this thick glass blender which keeps the blender looking sharp and clear versus a plastic blender that will look dull. I find it hard to disemsemble to clean though. I also dislike the fact that I have to hold the top of the blender to keep it steady. Holding the top of the blender really doesn't bother me that much but I would think that for the extra money that this Osterizer blender costs I would not have to do that. However, this blender is very sturdy and does happend to be the best blender I have ever owned. I would recommend it over the cheaper brand name blenders and think the higher price tag this Osterizer blender carries is well worth it. I like that this blender is easy to see whether or not it is clean and it looks classy and I am proud to own it.
