Our Billiardex Pool Table

This year for Christmas we decided that rather than getting way to many little presents we don't need, we would get one big family present and a few small ones. Now that we have a house with a basement, we decided we wanted a pool table. We looked in every store in our metro area and online and being a girl, I wanted something that was pretty. We are not professional pool players so it was style and a look that interested me more than anything else. I found just what I was looking for at Billardex. The Manhattan pool table is modern and not boring like traditions pool tables I have seen. It has a smooth black finish and a contemporary style to it that fits our decor. We got to choose the felt color for the top and we went with a red rather than the traditional green on most tables. It made of 100% wood, has black leather pockets, a lifetime warranty, and came with a free kit that included sticks, balls, a cover, racks, chalk and everything you need to play and keep the table looking it's best. We had to order it and it took 2 weeks to come in but it was worth the wait. Now even when we are not playing it we still have something to look at that looks really nice. Friends that have come over comment about how good looking of a table it is. Now if it only helped me play better it would be perfect.

Update On Feb 27, 2010: When we moved to our new house and found out how much it was going to cost to have the pool table moved, we decided to sell it instead of move it. Well that was a mistake that we now regret because we miss having it and are looking forward to getting a new one soon.
