Our Bodies, Ourselves By Stephanie Mas on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

Our Bodies, Ourselves is a book about women's health and sexuality produced by the nonprofit organization Our Bodies Ourselves (originally called the Boston Women's Health Book Collective). First published in 1973, it contains information related to many aspects of women's health and sexuality, including menopause, birth control, childbirth, sexual health, sexual orientation, gender identity, mental health and general well-being. This book was originally published in 1975 and has been published in twenty languages.

This book has been very helpful to me. There have been some symptoms that I have been having and after reading this book and narrowing it down, I was able to decipher what it may. I went to my doctor, and was told exactly what I thought it was, is what it is. I would reccomend this book to any woman who is looking to have something around the house that may be able to tell them what they are experiencing.

I purchased this book as a young adult and found it invaluable in terms of health issues, sexuality issues, etc. Definitely worth having.
