Our Endangered Values By halcamdad on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

This is a good book by Jimmy Carter, a very generous and caring man. There's definitely a political slant, which is virtually inescapable if you're going to read a book by Carter. Nonetheless, his stance on many issues that are at the forefront of American politics, world peace and foreign relations must be respected. I'm more conservative than Carter, but must respect his altruism and philanthropy. He's certainly not a limousine liberal with merely a bleeding heart image. He's a genuinely compassionate individual with visions and an incredible foundation. I really enjoyed reading his book and learning more about his contributions to the world and more about Jimmy Carter the man. He discusses many issues including poverty, healthcare, the War in Iraq, the environment and more.
