Overlord By Ntmanning By Ntmanning on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

Overlord is a game that you really do want to love and enjoy, but a few things can really drag you down while you play. First of all, the camera is difficult to cope with because the right analog stick controls your minions rather than the camera. Second of all is their was not an inclusion of a mini map, this is downright upsetting that a game like this wouldn't have a mini map. And finally, it can become a bit difficult to control everything towards the later stages of the game. However, this game is packed to the brim with funny one liners and is sure to keep a smile on your face as long as the controls and camera don't drive you crazy. The game is not overly difficult, the only thing that will give you trouble is the controls. You play as an Overlord that can weild either a mace, axe or sword and commands a small legion of minions to do your building. There are four types of minions that all perform different duties and are required at different points of the action. Overlord can be classified as being similar to Pikman, but you also can perform magic and attack yourself. At the very least this game deserves a rental.
