Oxy Maximum Strength Cleansing Pads 90 Ct. By hueroloco on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

The maximux strength "Oxy pads" advertise as "the #1 pharmacist reccamended brand." If this is indeed true there is no doubt in my mind that it shows why I never ask a pharmacist for their reccamendation when taking/using medication. Oxy pads are expensive, harsh on the skin due to their high alcohol content, and sometimes irritate the skin more than promote the healing of acne. They smell nice, are compact and durable, have a long expiration date, and do not come apart when wiping due to their density, but these are the only good qualities worth mentioning about this product. They dry up to fast, also because of the high alcohol content, and cause redness and irritation on the skin after they are applied. Acne medications are supposed to help the skin recoop and heal from extreme conditions, overdry or overoily, and oxy pad dry oily skin to the point where its hard and cracked and flaky. I would have to give the product 2.5 of of 5, raing the pads as a whole. Over all, stay away, there are much better brands out there.
