Our family stayed at the Pacific Beach Hotel on the island of Hawaii. This hotel is directly across the street from Waikiki beach. I suggest you book an oceanfront view room. We stayed on the top floor of the 17th story building facing the ocean. The views were fantastic. The sunsets were directly in front of the hotel and we enjoyed watching it set every night from our balcony. The room was quite large and just big enough for a family of four.
Inside the Pacific Beach hotel there is a three story aquarium. There are many types of fish and even some stingrays swimming around when you dine in the restaurant. I enjoyed looking at all the shops on the bottom floor of the hotel too.
Directly outside of the hotel there is a small seating area and a cafe. A great place to grab some quick snacks, bottled water or coffee.
I would highly recommend the Pacific Beach Hotel on the island of Oahu!

Wow! I'll certainly have to check that hotel out if I'm ever on Oahu again...the Aquarium is what got me :) That must be so fun!
Totally jealous!!! Yet to get to Hawaii.
I fell in love with Hawaii the moment I arrived. We stayed at the Princess Kauolani hotel in Honolulu for our honeymoon - eons ago. The sunsets were fantastic, but better yet was to see the sun come up on the beach. V:)
