Paint Shop Pro 8 Zero to Hero
By Jan Mayrhofer onThe Zero to Hero series of tutorial learning books are available at Amazon.com. When I purchased my upgrade from Paintshop Pro 5, Paintshop Pro 8 was different enough that I decided it would be quicker to learn from a book rather than try to figure it out on my own.
Paint Shop Pro is a photo editing and web graphics-creating software package. You can do amazing things with it, and the learning curve isnt TOO steep. Especially if you have a tool like this book, Paint Shop Pro 8, Zero to Hero. The name Zero to Hero means that you can go from knowing nothing to mastering the program by using this easy-to-follow book. The book uses simple language and hundreds of screen shots to make it easy. All you need is time!
One of the very simplest things you can do with Paint Shop Pro is to crop a picture so that it is shown to best advantage as I have done in my avatar of the frangipani flower. But that is certainly childs play compared to the cool things that can be done.
If I EVER retire from my job, I plan to get into playing with this program a lot more as a hobby. For now, I use it mainly to edit my digital photos.
If there is a software program you need to learn quickly, I recommend that you search to see whether Zero to Hero has a book for you on that subject.

I love Paint Shop Pro, I have PSP7, so I haven't updated for some time, but when I first got it, I would have been lost without my help books like these!
I use to use PSP all the time until I got a copy of Photoshop which I now use almost exclusively. I still like PSP for all of its unique characteristics though. This sounds like a great book that would help anyone master the program, thanks for the info
