These candies, purchased in bulk are reasonably priced and have very good taste.
I am a peanut butter freak, addict, afficionado, lover, just plain fool. These chocolate covered peanut butter cup candies are really good. I actually had a chance to compare these side by side with Reese's mini cups, and believe it or not, I liked these a little better. They have a tiny bit more salt in the peanut butter, and a tiny bit less sugar. All of this works well for me.
These are on sale here this month for $1.99 a pound, but are regularly $2.49 a pound. Either way they are cheaper than the Reese's.
The calories work out to about 70 each, so having a couple after a meal is a very reasonable little dessert treat.
They are individually wrapped in foil that is recyclable. The Reese's have an extra paper cup and these do not. I like not having another piece of paper to throw away, less packaging is better.
Meijer doesn't seem to be carrying these now. Maybe they only have them Christmas through Easter. I've tried several other kinds, but I really like these best of them all.
