Pampered chef cookie press

I ordered The pampered Chef cookie press about 1 yr ago. In that year I have put it to use about four times. In that four times I have had nothing but bad expierences!! The cookie press comes with 20 different designs to make cookies with. Some of the shapes include a butterfly, flowers, heart and the list just goes on.My expierence using the cookie press has not been a good one. I have not yet found a recepie to make the cookie dough of a consistancy so that the dough easily comes out into the shape that I choose. I have even tried the pilsbury sugar cookie dough that can be purchased in the refrigerator section at the local grocer. That too didn't work!Clean up is not so easy either. Once the dough has been emptied it must be taken apart to clean.It is NOT dishwasher save In my opnion I think the cookie press has just been over rated by other in the past. So now I have this cookie press sitting in my pantry collecting dust.
