Pampered Chef Garlic Press By Willow By Willow on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

What I like the most about this garlic press is that you don't even need to peel the garlic: just put the clove in the hopper and squeeze, and pressed garlic will come out while the skin will stay inside. I don't know how it works, but it does. The second thing I like is the curved handle, it is so much more convenient than straight ones, easier to hold onto and to do the squeezing.

The garlic press is durable, made of stainless steel, and dishwasher safe. It comes with a separate plastic cleaning tool that helps to remove garlic skins from the hopper; perhaps an unnecessary addition, but helpful if you do not want to get garlic smell on your fingers. The cleaning attachment snaps on top of the press, so the two can be stored together.

I used to prefer garlic powder over fresh garlic powder for cooking, not wishing to mess with peeling & processing cloves, but with this little helper I can do it quickly and easily.
