When I got these bowls as a Christmas gift, I thought I would never use them. It is 6 1-cup glass bowls with lids. I was very wrong. So far, I've used these bowls to serve dips, measure ingredients for recipes, microwave eggs, melt butter, and so much more. I love the extreme versatility of these little bowls. They are microwave safe and oven safe up to 350 degrees. The prep bowls are dishwasher safe. My only complaint so far is if you do not grease the bowl well enough before cooking in it, the food really sticks and is hard to clean. The bowls have a 5-year warranty in case you have a problem. I already owned a Pampered Chef Classic Batter Bowl and these prep bowls are like little miniature versions of that. I highly recommend these bowls because they help so much in the kitchen.
