Panasonic DVX100 Digital Video Camera

This camera is amazing. It's a prosumer model meaning it's for lowly professionals or really avid amateurs. It shoots at 24 fps and 30 fps. The 24 fps mode creates the look of professional film as that is the frame rate at which movies are shot. If you know how to light fairly well you can create a great looking home video, content entry or low budget commercial, training video, etc. These cameras retail for over three thousand dollars but you can pick one up off of ebay for around two grand. It features auto white balancing and auto focus but you can still do everything manually if you choose to. What I love most about this camera is the amazing color quality. The colors are extremely vivid and light up the screen. Unlike most digital camcorders you can adjust the light absorption with built-in filters. Fairly easy to use this is a great camera for a video lover!
