After my wife gives birth to our baby girl nine years ago, I went alone to buy an air conditioning unit. I walked on the stretched of Laon St. in Quiapo, Manila to canvass for a Panasonic unit. Why Panasonic? My brother works for Panasonic so in case there will be problem I can ask for him for the repair free of charge on the services.

I bought this 1hp National Panasonic room air conditioner with model CW-908FPH. Buying the unit is already plan ahead of time so the cost is not much of the concern. The unit performs well on our 4 x 4 square meter room. The heat of summer is not a problem anymore especially for the baby. Also, I find it not so loud when in use. Actually, it does not disturb us on our sleep. Although the case is rust-free, with its location and the weather and everything it goes rusty a bit.

I must admit I maintain it occasionally due to my 24/7 work. Wife just manage to clean the filter but that's it. Cleaning the rest of the unit depends on my availability. But I guess I am lucky with this aircon unit. Until now it is perfectly running. The controls and everything are okay and the unit has never been brought to the repair center even once.
