Panasonic Voice Activated Recorder

We were given this voice activated recorder. I do not know if we just got one that was damaged or what. We never could get this recorder to work right. It seems to roll and be trying to record but we never could get anything, when we played the tape back. Our iintent was to work on it but we haven't done that yet. I would treat this recorder as a buyer beware and check it out first. The style was great and I liked the design. It has a minature tape that goes in it. I thought it would be a big help in the office with my writing. It may have been, but I never got it to play back even once. It may have been damged somewhere along the way but there were no signs of it. There were no cracks or breaks at all. It could have had a manufacturers defect. I was surprised that It did not work well because of the brand name. I hope that we do achieve getting it to work one day. I cannot recommend this product based on my experience so far. If this changes in the future , I will update with more information. We thought we were doing something wrong at first, but after quite a few efforts, realised this was a little more complicated. I have always trusted this brand and felt that it must just be, one that slipped through by mistake. I would say , hang on to your receipt with this one, just in case you do need it.
