Reviewing: Pantene Texture & Shine Pomade
Purchased at: Cvs     Price: $4.99 USD

I live a very low maintaince lifestyle. I used only a handful of beauty products everyday but I still like to look my best with the least effort required. I do get a nice, somewhat expensive haircut about 3 times a year. I also color my hair at home and add highlights. In the salon they always try to sell you the fancy overpiced items they have there but I can not afford those so I have to try other products on my own to see which ones do the same job. I tried and love the Pantene texture and shine pomade. After I blow my hair, I used a small amount of it to define pieces of the hair to highlight my highlites and control any fly ways that might be going on. It leaves my hair soft and not sticky or hard and has a really nice fragrance too. I can even brush my hair and then run my fingers through it to redefine the pieces and it still holds the hair with out having to reapply more. When I first bought it I thought it was expensive for the small abount you get (the container it comes in is way larger than the amount of product you actually get), but it only takes a small amount each time and it has lasted me several months.

I like Pantene products, but I have never used this pomade. :)

I like Pantene products and like you look for good subsitutes for the higher priced salon brands. Since my hair is now highlighted, I'll pick this up to help accent them.
