Paper Capture By ange on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

As a graphic design student, my projects were burning a hole in my pocket gong to print shops all the time. I decided it would be more cost efficient to by my own printer. I did a lot of research trying to find a printer which would be capable of the quality and versatility I needed, as well as one that a poor college student could afford.

I decided on HP after many good reviews and chose the model I did based on it's product overview and sale price. It took a lot of playing around to figure out how to set the print setting to produce the best results, but once I did figure them out, the quality was exactly what I was looking for.

The K850 is also able to print on many materials and sizes which was often times required in my projects. It's not the fastest, but since I just need it for my personal use and not for mass prints, it works perfect. It got me through my college days and is still in good use. I have received a lot of comments on the projects that were produced from the printer, and saved a lot of money.
