I like to try and purchase office supplies at the Dollarstore whenever possible since things like pens, pencils, and paper tend to be way overpriced. The last time that I visited the Dollarstore I picked up a 2 pack of Paper Mate's Profile pens. The pens are ballpoint, and the ones that I purchased have blue ink. For the most part I really enjoy writing with these pens, they write pretty smoothy with the exception of small ink blots being left behind on the page periodically. You may not have a problem with this if you aren't a perfectionist like I am, or if you are right handed, allowing you to avoid the issue of smearing the inkblot all over the page when you drag your writing hand through it. Other than the inkblot problem, I do sometimes find, that like most pens, there are times when I have to take a moment to get some more ink to the tip of the pen so it will write, but this is a very rare occurance.
