Paper Photo Trimmer Keeps The Edges Even By Demon_Buttercup on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
If you are looking for an inexpensive paper & photo trimmer head on down to your Dollar Tree store and get the Miss Elizabeth's brand for just a buck!
The trimmer can handle a paper or photo up to 10" and the lightweight plastic base has a built in ruler and grid so you can easily line up the corresponding edges for a straight and even cut every time.
The only problem I have with this product is after awhile, the blade gets dull and it is near impossible to find a replacement blade. Often times I find myself replacing the trimmer even though the base is still in perfect condition, but the blade is too dull for a smooth cut. While it is cheap enough to do so, I admit to thinking of my carbon footprint as I add a hunk of plastic to the local landfill just because the blade is dull.
So if you are new to scrapbooking or just don't use a trimmer all that often, this is a perfect prodcut for you. However, if you are concerned about the environment and an avid paper and photo trimmer you may want to look for a different brand that you can find blade replacements for.
