Parents Choice Baby Bottle Brush
By Chenault onAs most parents know, it is important to change your baby bottle brush every 30-45 days or as soon as the brush begins to show signs of wear. When it was time to change my baby bottle brush I had several brands to try out. I received a very cheap bottle brush marketed by Dollar Tree stores and a Parents Choice bottle brush at my baby shower. I tried the parents Choice brush last week.
The bristles were firm, there is a sponge on the end of the brush, that is the first thing I did not like about this one. After just a few days of use I noticed the sponge was not looking so fresh, that worried me, I know sponges for doing dishes need tobe changed frequently, I cannot imagine it being safe to use the same sponge on baby bottles for many days.
I did like the nipple brush that was contained in the handle. That was handy.
I used this baby bottle brush for 4 days. I was very disappointed with it, the sponge was flat out gross after 4 days, the brush just did not get the bottles very clean and compared to other brands, the bristles lost their firmness very fast.
I would not recommend this brand to other parents. I know they are inexpensive, but it is not worth the $2 savings. You are better off to buy a good brand that will not tear up your bottles and nipples, and that will last for 30 to 45 days with proper care.
I ended up buying another Munchkin brand bottle brush, it is superior to these cheap brands!
