Park It Here By Nutmeg101 on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

This garage was purchased as a place to store an extra car. We had researched online and tried to find the best deal that we could, and finally settled on the $300 price at BJ's wholesale. The 24X12 size is very spacious. The tarp is heavy duty. I have no fear about this tarp weathering well.

It took approximately 9 man hours to construct this garage. The directions say 3 hours with 2 people (so 6 hours). There are parts that should have at least 2 people, some that would probably be easier with 3 or 4. The directions are not crystal clear, and it requires assembly, disassembly, and reassembly. It can be confusing. It does include the necessary parts to build a sturdy structure including the frame, tarp, auger anchors, all screws, nuts, bolts, and straps. The directions do explicitly say that if you plan to use this structure as long term storage, then to invest in more heavy duty auger anchors than what are supplied.

The score for security is low. There isn't a good way to lock or secure the structure.

That being said, we do enjoy having the extra space for the automobile, as well as other equipment that cannot be easily stored in our attached garage. We feel like we got a bargain, so well worth the price.
