Password Journal

Both of my daughters received this journal for Christmas and we should have taken them both back immediately.They are very cute looking Purple and Pink and with a pen that shows up invisible and can only be read if you use the uv light that is attached to the journal.Trying to set up the journal was a nightmare. The journal voice is so hard to understand that it took 4 of us to figure out what it was telling us to do. It asked for the password the journalsthen wanted you to repeat it every time my daughter would try it would say "please begin again" this also happened when we tried to set up the date and time it old us to add the numbers one at a timeafter the beeps after we would get done it would say " please begin again". It took over an hour to do although the directions said setup should only be five minutes.It is supposed to have voice recognition so only the owner can get into the journal.It does have a intruder alert and will tell you how many people have attempted to open your journal.Every time my children try to get into their journals it comes up and says they are intruders and then a siren goes off.It has storage to put the pen in but you have to rip off the paper to open it and then the paper will not sit right again so it slides all over the place.This is a very cute idea but unfortunately is just a huge waste of money.
