In these days of internet use and e-cards, I prefer to receive a good, old-fashioned card in the mail. No matter what the occasion, Patience Brewster has a card for you.

Patience Brewster makes many items besides greeting cards, but this was my introduction to her products and are what I love the most. When I see them, I stock up on my favorites and always keep some in my desk.

The drawings on these cards are absolutely amazing. She uses everything from fairies to vegetables as characters and each one is a delight in its own way. The message inside is short and to the point and always perfect for the occasion. The cards are well made on heavy paper and look quite nice. Many times I have been in a shop looking at the card display, only to be joined by several other customers, often giggling and passing the cards around for others to see. They definitely draw attention and lighten your mood, no matter what kind of day you're having.

I've sent many of the Patience Brewster cards to friends and family and have repeatedly received comments about them or was asked where I found them. I'd like to keep it a secret, but that would be selfish. Everyone should have a chance to see the magic and whimsy of these wonderful cards. Maybe they'll even send one to me!
