Payal Debit Card
By Stephanie Mas onI am an avvid Ebay seller and buyer. I don't do much shipping via internet so I go to the postal service at least once or twice a week. Because I consider this a part time job and am in business for myself I needed a credit or debit card that I could keep track of using as my business account.
After signing up with Paypal, I noticed that they had a Visa Debit card available to their members so I decided to sign up. I rceived the card in about 10 days, signed into my Paypal account and activated the card.
It works exactly like a credit or Visa/ Mastecard logo debit card. All I have to do is swipe the card and away I go with my purchases. I use it often for shipping and buying business things and I haven't once had problems with it.
I find that it is very easy to tell what my balance or charges are. All I need to do is login to Paypal and the charges are right there.
I do find that there is a downfall to the using the card. Unless you are using it for purchases on Ebay, they charge you a 3% fee for using the card. I think thats a little high, but I try not to think of that because after all this is for my business.
I would reccomend getting the card for anyone that is a seller or a buyer to Ebay. It is easy to create a Paypal account. Just remember that you have to wait 90 days to apply for the card, but once you get it, you will be very happy you did.

A little on the high interest rates, but if its works,go for it.
Sounds interesting, is this hooked into your Paypal funds and you're actually using them when using the card? If the interest is on this I guess it's no worse than what the ATM machines charge if you use a different bank machine - at least here, $1.50 from the bank & $1.50 at the ATM from a different branch - $3 for one withdrawal for taking out $20? Hmmm, when I think of it that way the Paypal card is not that bad a deal I guess :) Thanks for the info, I'll have to look into this, wasn't aware they had it.
Yes, all funds used is tied into your Paypal balance and taken out as you use the card. I would reccomend it as it is lower than an actual debit card.
