Paying my bills at the mall

My two credit cards had the same due last February 1. I only remembered to pay around 5 in the afternoon when the bank was already closed. No problem, I thought, as I always pays by debiting from my ATM.

But when I got to the ATM, the option for payment was non-existent. Then I was told by the guard that it was because the bank changed networks and they did not know when the bills payment option will be reinstated. I wondered how I could pay my account when I was already due that day.

My sister in law recommended paying at the bills payment counter at SM City, either at the department store or the supermarket. And so I did.

Pros:

1. Even if it was already late in the evening, the payment was still credited on the same day.

2. I paid in check and they received it without question.

3. As I had my bill with me, I did not have to fill up any form.

4. Although the queue was long, it took a short time for us to be serviced because there were many counters open and they speedily process payments.

That was the first time I paid my bills at SM and I am happy I did. Next time, I will do that again and then after that, I can still go around the mall. Lovely service!
